CNC Machinist - 2nd Shift

Shift: 2nd Shift (5 day work week, 8 hour shifts, 2:15‑10:45PM)

Responsibilities

• Set‑up, load and run product into the CNC machine
• Perform daily maintenance on equipment and clean work area after each shift
• Perform manual deburring operations as needed
• Follow Process Routing Document; perform inspection and legibly record results
• Complete reports and other associated paperwork
• Communicate with management, supervisors, operators, quality and other shop personnel for assignments and to resolve machining or quality issues
• Follow all applicable Quality Management System procedures, work instructions and forms
• Safeguard company, customer and supplier property (electronic, intellectual and physical)
• Manage assigned records (as owner)

Qualifications

• Must have 1‑3 years of experience with Vertical/Horizontal CNC Milling
• High school diploma or GED is required
• Experience reading blueprints and using calipers, height gauges and micrometers
• Proficient with machining operations such as drilling, turning and tapping
• Familiar with vertical and horizontal machines; Bridgeport experience preferred
• Demonstrates inspection competence and basic mathematical skills
• Has both mechanical and technical capacity
• Fluency in written and spoken English is required
