Senior Product Leader, Elevate Platform

Senior Product Leader, Elevate Platform Lead the full product lifecycle for Northern Trust’s Elevate platform, setting product vision, defining strategic priorities, and aligning roadmaps with business goals and market opportunities across compliance, risk, performance, Front Office Solutions, portfolio analytics, sustainability solutions, thought leadership, proprietary indicators, and data solutions. Major Duties Lead the full product lifecycle and the activities that support delivery of capabilities and services, including discovery and innovation, new product planning, new product introduction, and post‑launch product management. Align product strategy with broader business goals and objectives, and develop and execute product roadmaps with a three to five year horizon in partnership with the Product Executive, Business Stakeholders, and Technology Lead. Provide strategic oversight of product teams across the Elevate platform and manage overall performance and profitability against plan. Establish and monitor financial and market performance metrics, assess capital and expense investment needs, and make recommendations to the Product Executive and Business Stakeholders. Serve as the primary product contact for sales teams, communicate new features and value propositions, and oversee RFI, RFP, and due diligence responses. Represent the organization through product thought leadership at industry events, in publications, and at client events. Evaluate the impact of new regulations on the business and related product strategy. Ensure the reliability, performance, quality, and robustness of the product group, and manage financial and staffing resources, including capital and expense budgets. Qualifications A college or university degree and/or relevant proven work experience is required. A related industry qualification (e.g., ACCA) is also required. 15+ years of relevant experience in product management, product strategy, or related leadership roles, including experience leading teams and managing complex product portfolios. Program or project management experience, including planning, analysis, design, and governance, is preferred. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to distill complex topics into clear, executive‑ready materials. Strong relationship‑building, influencing, and negotiation skills with clients, partners, and leaders across disciplines. Proven experience leading, coaching, and developing high‑performing teams.
