Travel RN - Cath Lab/EPAmerican Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab RN with at least 1 year of interventional cardiac cath lab experience for a day-shift assignment requiring an active IL RN license.OverviewThe facility is a Level I trauma, Magnet-designated acute care hospital with 562 staffed beds.DetailsWork in a 5-room Cath Lab unit with an average daily census of 25 patientsDay shift schedule of 4x12 or 3x12 hours (6:30 AM - 7:00 PM)Will work 2-3 weekends per contractOn-call required as neededFloating required within the hospital or to nearby affiliate facilities to meet facility needsUses Cerner charting systemRequirementsActive IL RN license required in hand at time of applicationCurrent ACLS and BLS certifications required (AHA or Red Cross accepted; RQI cards not accepted)Minimum 1 year of interventional cardiac cath lab experience requiredRequired procedural experience: circulating procedures, diagnostic and left/right heart catheterizations, and Pulmonary Artery Line/Swan Ganz monitoringRequired medication experience with procedural sedation administration and monitoringRequired skills in dysrhythmia interpretation/management and procedural sedation monitoringCerner charting experience requiredTeaching hospital experience preferredAdditional InformationFirst-time travelers are welcome to applyScrubs are provided by the facilityRTO requests ideally limited to 5 or fewer non-holiday daysMust work 2 of the 3 major holidaysPrevious permanent or PRN employees must be separated from the facility for at least 12 months before returning as a travelerLocal candidates are accepted for this specialtyTravel pairs are not acceptedPay Weekly $3,809/wk Weekly Wages $2,563/wk Regular Hours $47.00 x 40 hours/wk = $1,880 OT Hours $85.38 x 8 hours/wk = $683 Weekly Stipends $1,246/wk Lodging $110.00 x 7 days = $770 Meals & Incidentals $68.00 x 7 days = $476 Weekly $3,809/wk In compliance with state pay transparency laws, we disclose that the estimated weekly pay range for this role is $3,643 - $3,809. The weekly pay shown in this posting, along with related figures, reflects the lower end of this range for local candidates and higher end of this range for travel candidates. Weekly travel pay includes tax-free stipends per IRS guidelines.
