Job Opportunity: Full-Time Nurse Practitioner

Our organization, a large multispecialty group practice with over 650 providers, is on the lookout for a dedicated Nurse Practitioner to oversee orthopedic trauma patients in partnership with orthopedic trauma surgeons.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct clinical management of patients using established protocols and procedures.
• Collaborate closely with the Orthopedic Trauma Medical Director and trauma service team.
• Evaluate new trauma patients in the Emergency Room.
• Guide hospital staff on patient management issues.
• Manage inpatient orthopedic fracture cases.
• Participate in both operating room and outpatient clinic settings.
• Fulfill a full-time rotation that includes clinic duties, operating room responsibilities, inpatient rounding, and PA call coverage.
• Work alongside a team of seven (7) providers, providing group call coverage as necessary, including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner medical license in Idaho.
• Hold a valid controlled substance registration with the Idaho Board of Pharmacy and the DEA.
• Demonstrate strong assessment skills, clinical expertise, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Commit to a multidisciplinary approach to patient care.
• Previous surgical and/or critical care experience in a hospital environment is preferred.
