Site Management Lead

AbbVie seeks a Site Management Lead to direct clinical site management operations for assigned studies, ensuring quality execution and timely delivery. This role involves managing site activities across study lifecycle stages, coordinating monitoring efforts, and serving as a key liaison within the Clinical Study Team.

Responsibilities

• Drive study-level and area-level clinical site management deliverables within allocated resources and timelines
• Develop and lead site monitoring strategy, engagement strategy, and site closure plans
• Oversee site selection, activation, engagement, monitoring, protocol adherence, and closeout activities
• Identify, evaluate, and mitigate study-level risks while ensuring site compliance and continuous improvement
• Support data snapshot and database lock activities aligned to Data Cleaning Plan and inspection readiness

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in paramedical or scientific field, or equivalent international qualification
• Minimum 5+ years clinical research industry experience with 2+ years monitoring or project management
• Experience managing multiple phases of studies (Phase II, III, and preferably Phase I in patients)
• Demonstrated knowledge of ICH guidelines, standard operating procedures, and regulatory compliance
• Strong presentation, written, and verbal communication abilities; advanced Microsoft Office proficiency
• Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams in matrix environments without direct authority
• Experience across multiple therapeutic areas or disease indications preferred
