Travel Registered Nurse - PCU

Location: Englewood, CO

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 7 PM - 7 AM

Job Description: The Multi Trauma Unit (MTU) is seeking a dedicated Travel Registered Nurse to provide exceptional care for patients with complex trauma needs. As a Level 1 trauma center, this unit handles a highly acute patient population, offering a challenging and rewarding environment for nursing professionals.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and manage critically ill patients with various trauma conditions.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Assist in procedures such as placing chest tubes and bedside bronchoscopies.
• Operate and maintain specialized medical equipment, including vents, feeding pumps, and wound vacs.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum 1-year current acute care hospital experience in a PCU unit.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• NIHSS experience and Meditech familiarity preferred.
