IT Engineer Level II Details:

• Temp-to-Hire position
• $20.00 to $30.00 / hour
• Full Time work available
• First Shift ( Monday through Friday from 08:00am to 05:00pm )

The right candidate must be able to take new equipment out of the box, configure it from scratch, install it, and put it into production. We need someone with hands-on configuration experience—not someone whose experience is limited to managing equipment after another technician has completed the setup.

• Design, configure, install, maintain, and troubleshoot LAN/WAN/Wi-Fi environments
• Configure and deploy servers, routers, switches, firewalls, wireless devices, and other network equipment
• Set up and troubleshoot communications between computers, networks, switches, printers, and wireless resources
• Configure network users, directories, permissions, and security attributes
• Maintain and secure network infrastructure
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues
• Test and evaluate new hardware and software
• Maintain technical documentation and network administration procedures
• Work directly with customers and end users to resolve technical needs 

IT Engineer Level II Qualifications:

• 2+ years of hands-on networking and IT infrastructure experience
• Recent experience configuring servers and networking equipment
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server environments
• Experience with firewalls, switches, routers, LAN/WAN, and wireless networking
• Ability to independently diagnose and resolve complex technical problems
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems or a related field preferred; equivalent education, training, and hands-on experience may be considered.
