As an Access Control Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will help maintain a welcoming, secure environment by managing access points, monitoring badge activity and alarm panels, conducting routine patrols, and remaining visible to help deter incidents. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor and control access to the location by verifying credentials, managing visitor entry, issuing temporary access materials, and maintaining accurate access records.
• Operate access control systems, cameras, alarms, and communication equipment; report irregularities, access issues, and suspicious activity according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, access-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, entry points, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
