The In‑Patient Physical Rehabilitation department offers personalized, high‑quality, cost‑effective evaluation and treatment to people with physical and/or speech‑related impairments. Physical Therapist Position Responsibilities Professionally evaluate patients across all ages and needs. Establish treatment programs that meet the functional needs of patients, caregivers, and align with age and social considerations. Set realistic goals, ensuring patient and caregiver understanding using accessible tools. Treat patients evaluated by themselves or other therapists. Provide timely, accurate notes and documentation as required. Consistently employ safe treatment techniques to avoid injury to patient and staff, and understand injury response procedures. Ensure patients/caregivers have necessary information, equipment, and services before discharge. Position Requirements Licensed as a Physical Therapist in New York State.
