REGULATORY CONSULTANT - 64007500 This position is part of a team that is the central processing point for all incoming and outgoing correspondence, complaints, and investigations involving possible regulatory violations by health care practitioners. Responsibilities Respond to consumers via telephone regarding complaints and investigations against health care practitioners. Receive, scan, perform quality control checks, and upload complaints into the imaging database. Process all incoming correspondence in the licensure and enforcement database and code appropriately. Perform all other duties as required. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Ability to type; proficient use of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook; knowledge of the MQA database (enforcement and licensure); ability to make independent decisions; ability to maintain confidentiality; ability to organize workload; ability to prioritize; ability to provide quality customer service; ability to plan, organize, and coordinate work assignments independently with little or no supervision; ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees and the public; ability to communicate verbally and in writing; knowledge of techniques for researching, gathering, and maintaining data. Qualifications Two (2) years of administrative experience, including computer software, data entry, and document preparation. College education can substitute for the required experience on a year-for-year basis. Valid driver's license and satisfactory completion of a background investigation and fingerprinting; participation in direct deposit is required. Must be physically present in the office to effectively perform job duties and responsibilities. Preferred Qualifications High School Diploma or Equivalent.
