Contract | Nights | 4x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:00) | 36 or 48 hours per week | Weekends Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room setting during night shift hours
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for emergency patients across the acuity spectrum, including pediatric patients
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
• Float within scope of practice to other units as staffing needs require
• Document all patient care activities accurately using Epic electronic health records

Required Qualifications

• Current RN license in Virginia (pending license accepted; must be in hand by the Wednesday before start date)
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience, including at least 1 year in a Level 1 Trauma Center or 2 years in a Level 2 Trauma Center
• Some pediatric emergency experience required
• Active ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required
• TNCC required (may submit with TNCC pending; must be obtained prior to start date)
• Proficiency with Epic electronic health records

Preferred Experience / Skills

• BSN degree preferred
• Experience in high-volume or academic medical center emergency departments
