MEMS Process and Yield Engineer Full‑time Regular Professional Santa Clara, CA, US SiTime is the Precision Timing company. Job Summary The MEMS Process and Yield Engineer will be responsible for MEMS wafer yield and disposition, monitoring foundry and test data for yield issues, and working with MEMS wafer foundry and test engineering to ensure high‑quality process control. Responsibilities Drive continuous improvement in MEMS process and yield with MEMS foundry partners Dispostion of MEMS product material at test and foundry stages Qualify process changes and ramp new and mature products Design and execute experiments with foundry, analyze data, and present results with process‑change recommendations Maintain ongoing process control of both MEMS wafer test and foundry process data Provide regular updates on process and yield health using statistical analysis and database tools Qualifications & Requirements BS, MS, or PhD in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Material Science or related technical degree Experience with statistical analysis and DOE software such as JMP or Spotfire Experience with Statistical Process Control (SPC), yield improvement, and wafer probe Minimum of 10 years in semiconductor manufacturing, including wafer process and defect analysis Experience with MEMS process (a plus) Experience with wafer sort (a plus) Experience with OSAT processes (a plus) Desired Characteristics & Attributes Positive attitude and motivation to learn new skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Good critical‑thinking and organizational skills Ability to work well with others in a collaborative fast‑paced team environment The annual base salary range is $98,400.00 – $135,300.00. The final offer is determined by location, experience, education, and training. In addition to base salary, the role is eligible for a quarterly bonus tied to the achievement of innovation goals, and equity grants are also available.
