Registered Nurse – MSICU/PCU Req ID: 308833 Location: Bethesda North Hospital – 10500 Montgomery Rd, Montgomery, OH 45242 Job Type: Full‑Time Nights Sign‑On Bonus: $5,000 About the Role The Medical‑Surgical Intensive Care Unit (MSICU) at Bethesda North Hospital is a state‑of‑the‑art critical care environment specializing in complex and high‑acuity patient care. The unit consists of 28 ICU beds and 14 PCU beds and is integral to our Level III Trauma and Comprehensive Stroke Programs. Nurses on this team provide advanced therapies such as Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT) and Ultrasound‑Guided Peripheral Intravenous (USGPIV) techniques, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver high‑quality care. Key Responsibilities Perform initial and ongoing assessments of patients and families; document according to TriHealth standards. Develop and execute individualized plans of care based on assessments and desired outcomes. Deliver safe, holistic care while maintaining patient dignity, autonomy, and rights in a high‑acuity setting. Recognize emergent situations and initiate appropriate interventions. Communicate effectively with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care. Provide patient and family education and document teaching outcomes. Share knowledge, serve as a resource, and contribute to ongoing professional development. Qualifications Must‑Have Associate’s Degree or Diploma in Nursing. Active Registered Nurse (RN) license. BLS/CPR (Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers). New hires must obtain BSN within 5 years of hire. Strong clinical judgment and nursing knowledge across the life cycle. Preferred Membership in a related professional nursing organization. Up to 1 year of clinical nursing experience (critical care experience a plus).
