Position Summary The Producer is responsible for identifying and delivering engaging television programming that educates guests onboard our partner cruise line(s), promotes participating merchants (advertisers) and enhances guest shopping ashore experience before arriving to each port. The Producer manages the creation and execution of television and broadcast-quality programming. They oversee and direct everything from pre-production planning and budgeting to coordinating scheduling and post-production. the complete production process of broadcast-quality content from concept development through final delivery and presentation to guests. Primary responsibilities: Produce all destination-specific Port Shopping television programming shown in guest staterooms Plan, script, schedule, film and edit presentations for each ships' itinerary Film our "Port Talks" show, featuring Port Lecturers (your on-board team members), highlighting participating merchants, destination shopping opportunities, important local information and exclusive offers Coordinate production schedules with Port Lecturers for each ship to ensure content remains current and relevant Direct Videographer to capture professional footage of merchants, products, shopping districts, local attractions and destination highlights Produce promotional videos introducing new merchants, exclusive collections and seasonal campaigns Create original 30-minute entertaining and educational television programs covering topics such as: Fine Jewelry, Luxury Watches, Diamonds, Tanzanite and other destination-specific products and souvenirs Oversee all aspects of video editing, motion graphics, music licensing, color correction, sound mixing, and final rendering Maintain a comprehensive video asset library for future productions and updates Ensure all programming meets our cruise line partners' broadcast specifications and brand standards Coordinate revisions with Client Services Marketing Specialists to ensure participating merchants contractual advertising commitments are fulfilled Continuously refresh content to reflect new destinations, merchant additions, promotional campaigns and changing market trends Requirements: A Bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism, Television/Film Production, Communications, or closely related media field 5+ years of direct broadcast production experience working in a fast-paced television, Knowledge of the entire creative planning and development process through final edit Detailed-oriented with the ability to carefully proof and approve content prior to finalizing Extremely well-organized and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously Exceptional written and verbal communication skills Able to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and turnaround time #J-18808-Ljbffr Diamonds International
