Dell Driving Technician / Field Service Technician Full-time position. Job Details Title: Desktop Support / Field Service Technician / Computer Driving Technician. Type of Job: Long-term Contract / Contract to permanent. Job Role / Duties Travel to various customer locations from the pickup parts location. Visit business offices and private residences to repair, troubleshoot, and break-fix computers, desktops, laptops, and printers. Use own vehicle for travel to provide service. Primarily service Dell products (previous experience with Dell is a plus). Travel within a radius of 50 to 70 miles from the pickup location. Maintain a professional appearance and communication style. Be prepared for overtime work and extensive driving (up to 300 miles per week). Required Skills A+ Certification is mandatory (training/expired status accepted). Dell or other product manufacturer certification is a plus. Good experience working with laptops and desktops. Proficiency in break/fix procedures. Important Points Background check and driving record verification will be required upon job offer. Complete Dell certification training (online, free) is required. Contract agreement terms will be outlined by the company. Pay will be disbursed biweekly for approved hours. Mileage will be reimbursed; contact recruiter for details. Maintain a backup vehicle in case of breakdown. Pay Details / Other Details Standard pay rate and generous mileage reimbursement.
