We are looking for a Technical Service Specialist to join our Automotive Refinish team in New England/Upstate NY! Field Role: Company Car provided New finish, Proven expertise. Bolder ambition. Surventis is a global expert in the development, production and marketing of innovative and sustainable automotive OEM and refinish coatings, decorative paints as well as applied surface treatments for metal, plastic and glass substrates in a wide range of industries. This portfolio is supplemented by "Beyond Paint Solutions," which enables new applications with innovative surfaces.

You will work with some of the largest Body Shop and Distribution organizations in the market through paint application process development, correct application of products through teaching & hands on demonstrations and helping the sales team convert new business. You will work closely with the sales team to make sure our distribution partners are properly trained and can effectively sell and position our product offerings against competitive product lines. In addition, you will work with the Business Development and Sales team to gain new business and ensure identified Body Shop KPI's are achieved.

As a Technical Service Specialist New England - Automotive Refinish you will...

• Be responsible for the technical success of Surventis' automotive refinish products, in the New England/Upstate NY markets.
• Work on coating technologies including solvent & waterborne base coat/clear coat systems, OEM paint approval process, new product and process development at the field level and affecting positive financial impact through product usage and application training.
• Train and develop our Body Shop and Distribution customers, you will make process improvement recommendations that can be highly valuable to end users.
• Lead new product and customer demonstrations, being proficient in product application, selling and implementing new products, and generating a positive experience with Surventis-branded products.
• Participate in the technical aspects of the sales process.
• Lead customer training to ensure Surventis product proficiencies and product conversions of new Surventis customers.
• Work with the Surventis team to help meet and exceed new business and financial targets.
• Add value to our customers through root cause analysis, trouble-shooting technical applications, and color match issues.

If you have...

• HS Diploma (or equivalent) coupled with relevant experience.
• At least 10+ years of industry experience as a refinish tech.
• Strong understanding of competitive products and tools.
• Proficiency with Surventis' current Automotive Refinish products and technology tools (a plus).
• Ability to utilize Microsoft Office tools to lead presentations focused on introducing new products to the market and supporting a better understanding of Surventis-branded products.
• CRM expertise is a plus.

Pay transparency Surventis is committed to pay transparency practices. The competitive Pay Range for this role is $82,500 - 95,000 depending on qualifications. Actual pay will be determined based on education, certifications, experience, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
