Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
• Active North Carolina physical therapy license is required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required.
• Experience treating outpatient orthopedic and neurologic patient populations preferred.
• Experience working in an acute care hospital or outpatient hospital-based clinic preferred.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior travel therapy experience preferred.
• Experience with common clinic documentation systems preferred.
• Additional orthopedic certifications or specialized training preferred.

Assignment Details

• Shift Hours: 0800-1600.
• Shift Days: Days.

Impacting Patient Care


Join Jackson Therapy Partners as a travel PT and deliver high-quality patient care in an 86-bed acute care hospital setting supporting orthopedics, cardiology, general surgery, women's care, emergency medicine, sports medicine, physical therapy, imaging, and laboratory services. Provide patient-centered rehabilitation in outpatient orthopedic and neuro populations. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and rehabilitation staff to support consistent, safe, and effective recovery plans.

Location Highlights

Experience western North Carolina at the foot of the Great Smoky Mountains. Sylva's Main Street features local restaurants, galleries, bookshops, and four breweries, approximately 0-20 minutes from downtown attractions. The area offers access to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park within a one-hour drive and proximity to regional outdoor recreation such as fly fishing on the Western North Carolina Fly Fishing Trail and multiple hiking areas. The historic Jackson County Courthouse is a local landmark and downtown provides a small-town, walkable atmosphere and cultural events within short drives to larger regional centers.
