Registered Nurse (RN) - Labor and Delivery

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to join our Labor and Delivery team. The ideal candidate will have experience in high-risk pregnancy monitoring and fetal heart monitoring. This position requires the ability to float to postpartum units as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide care in antepartum, labor, and delivery settings.
• Monitor fetal heart rates and manage high-risk pregnancies.
• Assist in C-sections and vaginal deliveries.
• Participate in postpartum couplet care if necessary.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery.
• Certifications required: AWHONN Advanced, or NCC EFM, ACLS, BLS, NRP, FHM.
• AHA certifications for ACLS and BCLS are required.
• First-timers are not accepted.
• Availability for every other weekend is required.

Job Details

• Unit includes 4 antepartum rooms, 9 labor/high-risk rooms, and 3 triage rooms.
• No on-call is required; float to postpartum as needed.
• Charting system utilized: Epic.
• Guaranteed hours: May be subject to call-off once per two-week pay period.

• Local radius for applicants is 50 miles.
• RTO (Request Time Off) must be included at the time of submission.
• Parking options available for staff.
