Mass Tort and Product Liability Midlevel Associate

Job Overview A law firm seeks a mid-level associate to join its Mass Tort and Product Liability practice in Newark, NJ. This role offers the opportunity to engage in high-profile, complex litigation as part of a collaborative team. Duties Manage fact and expert discovery, including taking depositions. Draft and argue substantive motions. Develop and execute causation defenses, working effectively with expert witnesses. Requirements 3-5 years of experience in mass tort and product liability litigation. Experience defending asbestos claims preferred. Experience with complex commercial disputes, multidistrict litigation, and/or class actions preferred. Education J.D. from an accredited law school. Certifications Admitted to practice in the applicable jurisdiction. Skills Strong commitment to delivering high-quality client service. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
