A pharmacy technician role is available at a healthcare facility near Templeton, CA, offering a 13-week contract with a prompt start date. This position requires strong skills in both sterile and non-sterile compounding, along with supporting pharmacy operations.

Schedule/Hours:

• Four 10-hour shifts per week
• Variable days and afternoon shifts
• Scheduling flexibility provided by the Director of Pharmacy to accommodate technician needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform sterile and non-sterile compounding according to protocols
• Restock Pyxis automated medication dispensing units
• Handle incoming phone calls to the pharmacy professionally and efficiently
• Manage medication inventory and supplies
• Assist pharmacists with daily operational tasks

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid California pharmacist license
• Experience working in a hospital pharmacy environment
• Knowledge of sterile compounding procedures and pharmacy technology
• Excellent communication skills and ability to multitask under pressure
