Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) - Acute Care

Schedule: Days, 8 hours, typically 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday. Weekend coverage is required based on patient needs.
Assignment Details: Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week Contract Length: 13 weeks
Requirements: License: Valid physical therapy license Unit-specific skills: Experience in rehabilitation services, ICU, and women's health
Roles & Responsibilities: Provide physical therapy services to patients in various settings, including inpatient and outpatient. Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans. Monitor and document patient progress and outcomes in compliance with facility protocols. Participate in daily huddles to assess patient load and determine therapy needs. Ensure quality and timely care delivery in accordance with professional standards.
Compliance / Notes: Charting is done through PowerChart, with a manual log maintained. Weekend therapy coverage varies based on patient demand.
