What you'll bring: High school diploma or equivalent. Administrative/Office courses, certificate, or degree may be preferred. Five years or more job related experience required Must possess a high level of computer proficiency, working knowledge of Outlook, Microsoft Office Suite, and the ability to learn and effectively use a variety of computer programs, plus the ability to use a variety of office equipment. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required to establish and maintain internal and external working relationships. This position may be subject to assessment of skills, job match, and/or aptitude. What you'll do: Provide a variety of high level administrative support tasks under limited supervision. Coordinate and contribute in departmental projects and processes, and assists staff in meeting schedules and operational requirements. Manage departmental records and information; receive, screen and direct incoming calls, visitors, mail and e-mail. Maintain or assure appropriate and timely record keeping. Arrange for or may provide staff training Gather and review/analyze information to prepare reports or make recommendations. Serve as resource to others internally and externally on department activities. Possess advanced knowledge of the department's policies and procedures and exercises independent judgment to resolve problems. Answer various questions from customers and is capable to act as an informal resource for colleagues with less experience. The expected hourly compensation range for this position is $26.00 - $32.20. Compensation offered to the selected candidate will vary depending on relevant knowledge, skills, training, experience, and market conditions.
