Job Title: Operating Room Registered Nurse Profession: RN (Registered Nurse) Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Nights Hours per Shift: 8, 10, or 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Required Certifications: BLS Certification Must-Have: Experience in scrubbing and/or circulating neuro, ortho, and trauma cases Experience in a Level 1 trauma center Weekend rotation and call availability Description: This position requires an immediate start. The assignment must end by June 1st. Candidates will be interviewed by the manager directly, with no prescreening process. Housing leads are available upon request. Preference is given to candidates with travel experience. Registered Nurses will work rotating shifts, including 12-hour shifts on weekends. They may also be scheduled for 8-hour shifts during the week. The unit consists of 23 suites with an average of 75 cases per day. Call requirements include 3-4 weekdays per month and one weekend shift per month. Call response time is 45 minutes. No floating is required. Hospital-issued scrubs are provided. Travelers must meet the same call expectations as permanent staff. Shifts ending at 3:30 PM and 5:30 PM are subject to additional call requirements. Neuro and ortho staff will take shifts based on a rotating schedule posted monthly. Cancellation policy is not applicable. The charting system used is EPIC. BSN is not required for this position.
