Headquartered in Silicon Valley, SKTA invests in and partners with cutting-edge companies in AI/ML, semiconductors, infrastructure, security, and mobility to drive the next wave of transformative technologies. With a small, high-performing team of 1150 professionals, we operate at the intersection of venture capital, technology innovation, and global collaboration between the U.S. and Korea.
Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced, hands-on HR Manager to lead all aspects of human resources for our fast-paced, innovation-driven organization. As a key member of the leadership team, you will serve as the primary HR business partner, building a high-performance culture that attracts top talent in AI, venture capital, and technology while ensuring seamless operations in a multicultural, global environment. This is a generalist role ideal for someone who thrives in a small-company setting where you can own everything from talent acquisition to employee experience and compliance.

Manage onboarding and new-hire orientation with a focus on cultural integration between U.S. and Korean teams.
- Employee Relations & Culture: Serve as a trusted advisor to employees and managers on performance, development, conflict resolution, and engagement. Foster an inclusive, collaborative workplace that bridges U.S. and Korean business practices.
- HR Compliance & Policy: Ensure full compliance with federal, California, and local employment laws (EEO, FLSA, FMLA, CFRA, wage/hour, etc.). Maintain and update employee handbooks, policies, and procedures.
- Performance Management & Development: Design and manage performance review processes, talent development programs, and succession planning tailored to a high-growth venture environment.
- Compensation & Benefits: Oversee competitive compensation benchmarking, benefits administration, and total rewards strategies. Partner with global HQ on international assignment and expatriate support as needed.
- HR Operations & Analytics: Manage day-to-day HR operations, payroll coordination, HRIS systems, and people analytics to drive data-informed decisions.
- DE&I and Global Collaboration: Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives while supporting smooth cross-border collaboration with SK Telecom headquarters in Korea.
- Special Projects: Lead or support HR initiatives related to organizational growth, office expansion, or strategic investments.
