Make a positive impact supporting students as an in-person Speech-Language Pathologist for the 2025-2026 school year. This full-time, contract opportunity serves a diverse K-12th grade caseload, working collaboratively with educators and families to promote optimal communication outcomes.
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Previous experience working with children in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
- Strong knowledge of assessment tools, intervention strategies, and IEP process
- Effective communication skills with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to manage time efficiently and adapt to a dynamic school environment
- Commitment to evidence-based practice and ongoing professional growth
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students across grade levels
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students’ unique goals
- Provide direct therapy services in accordance with IEP mandates and educational standards
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student achievement
- Document progress, maintain records, and participate in IEP meetings
- Offer consultation and training to school staff regarding communication disorders and strategies
