Bridge Design Engineer

Entry Level Bridge Engineer
Our client is a large regional engineering consulting firm with a 75 year track record of growth and award-winning projects. They strive to create a positive and fulfilling employee environment through their organizational focus on Passion, People, and Potential. We are currently seeking a Full-Time Entry Level Bridge Engineer for our Cincinnati, OH and Columbus, OH offices. Will be involved in projects with our Transportation Team and be a part of a growing organization that delivers important bridge infrastructure for our Ohio and national clients.
Primary Functions Include:
- Perform bridge related computations and analysis
- Support the preparation of design plans, cost estimates and special provisions
- Collect data, gather information, produce documents and reports
- Attend design meetings and coordinate with team members
- Develop memorandums and other written technical documents
- Work with cross-functional teams in executing project work.
- Work collaboratively with other engineers, professionals, and infrastructure authorities on Federal, State, regional, local, and privately funded improvement and development projects.
- Perform additional responsibilities as required by business needs
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or closely related discipline.
- 0-1 years of relevant post education experience
- Good technical writing, analytical and communication skills
- Detail-oriented with an emphasis on quality work products
- Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Engineer-in-Training (EIT) Certification
