Site Safety and Health Officer

Our client has grown into Nevada's largest general contractor, now building across the Southwest from offices in Las Vegas, Reno, and Denver. Their work ranges from fast-moving tenant improvements to ground-up developments exceeding $100M, and they run on the same values that got you through your military career: integrity, accountability, respect, and teamwork.

First-year compensation is 110-120k with company benefits.

Working hours are standard 40-45 hours a week with some expectations of staying or showing up early.

What You'd Own:

? Run daily site safety inspections, orientations, and accident investigations - same battle rhythm as a shop safety walk-around or a pre-flight/pre-op check

? Train personnel on safety policies and procedures, and hold the line on compliance

? Serve as the site's point of contact during OSHA inspections - prep documentation, flag risks before they become problems

? Advise the safety leadership team on project risk, incidents, and operational safety concerns

? Sit in on kickoff meetings with project staff and subcontractors to define your role and authority on-site from day one

? Track regulatory changes and push updates into the company's safety program

? Get eyes on active job sites regularly - this isn't a desk job

What They're Looking For:

? General construction with an emphasis on construction/industrial safety

? Working knowledge of federal, state, local, and company safety regulations

? BCSP certification preferred (BCSP has direct veteran crosswalk pathways)

? Electrical experience preferred
