Licensed Massage Therapist at Young & Bloom Skin Job Description Young & Bloom Skin is looking for a licensed Massage Therapist to join our growing spa team in Saratoga Springs. We're looking for someone who combines excellent massage technique with warmth, professionalism, and a genuine ability to connect with clients. You'll work with guests seeking everything from relaxation and stress relief to deep tissue and more targeted therapeutic work, tailoring each session to the individual rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach. This is a great opportunity for a therapist looking to join an established local spa with existing massage demand, repeat clientele, a supportive team, and a welcoming environment where the client experience matters. Responsibilities Consult with clients before each session to understand their goals, preferences, areas of concern, and relevant health information. Provide customized massage sessions, including Swedish/relaxation and deep tissue massage, with opportunities to provide sports, prenatal, hot stone, reflexology, and other modalities based on training and experience. Adjust pressure, techniques, and treatment plans based on client feedback and individual needs. Create a comfortable, professional, and welcoming experience from the beginning to the end of each appointment. Educate clients on appropriate aftercare and make thoughtful recommendations for future sessions when beneficial. Maintain accurate client notes and follow all sanitation, safety, and professional standards. Prepare and maintain a clean, comfortable treatment room. Work collaboratively with our front desk, massage therapists, estheticians, and ownership team to provide a seamless guest experience. Build strong client relationships that encourage repeat visits and long-term retention. Qualifications Required Current New York State Massage Therapy license and registration in good standing. Strong massage technique and knowledge of anatomy and physiology. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Professional, dependable, and client-focused approach. Ability to customize sessions based on each client's needs and comfort. Preferred Experience providing Swedish/relaxation and deep tissue massage. Additional training or experience in modalities such as prenatal, sports massage, hot stone, reflexology, trigger point therapy, or similar techniques. Previous spa or wellness experience. An interest in developing a loyal base of repeat clients.
