Registered Nurse - Operating Room (OR)

We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join a high-acuity, Level 1 Trauma Center in Rochester, NY. This role offers exposure to a diverse surgical caseload and advanced technology, including Da Vinci robotic systems and a comprehensive transplant program. Schedule & Requirements Rotating Day/Evening/Night shifts On-call and callback required Weekend and holiday coverage required based on unit needs Floating required as needed Key Responsibilities Provide nursing care in the operating room across a wide range of surgical specialties Perform both scrub and circulating duties Collaborate with multidisciplinary surgical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to all surgical protocols Specialties Include Orthopedics General Surgery Plastics & Reconstructive Surgery Urology Cardiac & Thoracic Neurosurgery Vascular Ophthalmic GYN ENT Oral-Maxillofacial Trauma (Level 1 Trauma Center) Transplant (Liver, Kidney, Heart) Robotic Surgery (Da Vinci Systems) Minimum Requirements Active RN License – New York State (Required) Minimum of 2 years Operating Room experience (Level 1 Trauma experience preferred) Ability to scrub and circulate cases Preferred Qualifications Telemetry experience (highly desired) Experience with complex surgical cases including: Transplants Plastics/Reconstructive proceduresCraniotomy Strong Orthopedic background Certifications BLS – American Heart Association (Required) ACLS (Preferred) Join our team and make a difference in patients' lives.
