Production Supervisor

Production Supervisor (2nd Shift) Location: Grenada, MS Shift: Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM–11:00 PM Job Type: Full-Time Join Our Team We are seeking an experienced and motivated Production Supervisor to lead our second-shift manufacturing team in Grenada, Mississippi. This position is responsible for overseeing daily production operations, ensuring safety, quality, and productivity goals are achieved while fostering a positive and engaged work environment. The ideal candidate is a hands‑on leader with strong communication skills, manufacturing experience, and a passion for developing employees and driving continuous improvement. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of production employees during the second shift. Ensure production schedules are met while maintaining quality and efficiency standards. Promote and enforce all company safety policies and OSHA regulations. Monitor production performance and identify opportunities to improve productivity, quality, and cost. Train, coach, and develop team members to achieve performance goals. Conduct shift meetings and communicate production priorities, safety updates, and operational changes. Collaborate with Maintenance, Quality, Warehouse, and other departments to resolve production issues. Monitor equipment performance and coordinate repairs with the maintenance team when needed. Maintain accurate production records, labor reporting, and shift documentation. Address employee concerns and support a positive, team‑oriented work environment. Assist with continuous improvement initiatives, process optimization, and waste reduction. Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and customer requirements. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred. 3+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred. Strong leadership, communication, and team‑building skills. Experience managing production schedules and meeting performance metrics. Ability to motivate employees while maintaining accountability. Working knowledge of lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, or Six Sigma principles is a plus. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and production reporting systems. Ability to work in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment and make sound decisions under pressure. Preferred Skills Experience supervising production teams in plastics, injection molding, or manufacturing. Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and manufacturing best practices. Experience with ERP or manufacturing software systems. Strong problem‑solving and conflict‑resolution skills. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus. Why Join Our Team?
