Echocardiographer / Cardiac Sonographer / Echo Tech (Physician Clinic - No Weekends!)
Non-hospital setting
Monday-Friday 8am-5 pm.
There is no on-call requirement and they usually finish by 1 or 2pm on Fridays.
Pay Range: ($29.80-$47.00)
Permanent Hire
Responsibilities:
- Greets and confirms patients, assists patient with appropriate attire for procedure.
- Explains procedure length, properly positions patient for procedure, and sets expectations along with desired results.
- Selects and utilizes appropriate technical factors for procedure based on body habits, pathology, and body parts.
- Processes completed images ensuring they are of interpretable quality.
- Continues professional development through continuing education programs and in-services.
- Complies with all policies of the system to deliver the highest quality of service.
- Performs Adult Echocardiography and Stress/Echo tests.
- Maintains work logs, provides preliminary reports, and works closely with physicians to ensure protocols are established and met.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Echocardiogram Technology program.
