As a Compliance Operations Associate, you will play a critical role in ensuring regulatory compliance and operational excellence across customer onboarding, screening, and transaction monitoring activities. Accountabilities Manage customer onboarding and screening processes, conducting due diligence reviews on businesses and individuals across multiple regulated entities. Oversee and enhance transaction monitoring activities to support growing payment flows and evolving customer journeys while maintaining compliance standards. Develop, document, and continuously improve standard operating procedures related to KYC, screening, transaction monitoring, and regulatory compliance requirements. Collaborate with risk and compliance stakeholders on investigations, escalations, suspicious activity reviews, and regulatory reporting activities. Support internal and external compliance audits by preparing documentation, explaining processes, and ensuring readiness for assessments. Identify opportunities to optimize and automate operational workflows, partnering with product and engineering teams to implement scalable solutions. Analyze operational data to improve decision‑making, strengthen controls, and enhance overall compliance effectiveness. Contribute to building a robust first‑line compliance function that balances regulatory obligations with operational efficiency and customer experience. Requirements Minimum of 4 years of experience in KYC, onboarding, compliance operations, or related functions within fintech, insurtech, financial services, or regulated environments. Strong knowledge of customer due diligence, screening processes, transaction monitoring, and regulatory compliance frameworks. Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to identify, assess, and escalate potential compliance risks and red flags. Experience building, improving, and documenting operational processes in fast‑paced and evolving organizations. Strong analytical and data‑handling skills, with the ability to derive insights from large datasets and support informed decision‑making. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple teams and stakeholders. Comfortable operating in high‑growth environments where priorities, processes, and responsibilities may evolve rapidly.
