Position Highlights

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct a range of ultrasound tests, including but not limited to abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety by clearly explaining each aspect of the process with sensitivity and empathy
• Collaborate effectively with radiologists and referring doctors to ensure high-quality diagnostic images are provided
• Maintain and operate imaging equipment efficiently while promptly reporting any malfunctions
• Document procedures accurately and uphold patient records within the electronic medical records system
• Stay informed about advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and industry best practices

Educational Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field
• CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program completion is preferred

Required Certifications

• Active certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
