SAGE Dining Services is seeking a Cook to join a dynamic team at a private day school in Brookline, MA. A School cook is responsible for preparing nutritious lunch and dinner meals for students, which includes menu planning, cooking large quantities from recipes, ensuring food safety and quality, and managing kitchen cleanliness and inventory. Responsibilities:

• Prepare fresh, from-scratch meals for students and staff
• Cook a variety of high-quality dishes with attention to taste and presentation
• Follow recipes and SAGE standards to create restaurant-quality meals
• Work as part of a team in a fast-paced kitchen environment
• Assist with food prep, cooking, and maintaining organized kitchen stations
• Ensure food is prepared safely and served at the highest quality
• Help create meals that reflect the tastes and needs of the school community
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen workspace

Schedule:

• Monday - Friday
• 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM
• Available overtime for catering events, with advance notice.

Pay Type:

$22.00 - $24.00 Hourly

Requirements:

• Experience with cooking in a commercial kitchen.
• Ability to understand and execute recipes and instructions in English.
• Ability to interact with SAGE guests and Team Members in a professional and positive manner.
