Onto Innovation strives to optimize customers’ critical path of progress by making them smarter, faster and more efficient.Job Summary & ResponsibilitiesBecome a Subject Matter Expert on Onto Innovation’s Inspection products.Support customer applications development activities that require full understanding of the system set-up, inspection of customer’s product, confirmation of optimal and accurate results, and presentation of resultsWork closely with internal and external customers to understand their requirements and challenges and ensure that Onto Innovation's systems are configured and utilized optimallyProvide support and applications training to customers as well as various internal functional groups to ensure systems are being used effectivelyDevelop system requirements that meet customer requirements and product definitions provided by other departments Assist in developing and executing system level test plans to validate that the engineering designs meet customer requirementsCompile and assist in the presentation of test data collected during design validations to a peer group of engineersContribute to documentation for use in the manufacture, installation, technical support and training related to the final design Support engineering products through entire life cycleSupport training, application support, and characterization of NPI (new product introduction)Must be able to travel internationally to customer sites at least 20% of the time, with additional travel as business needs require.Qualifications5+ Years of experience in related fieldBachelor’s degree in Science or EngineeringStrong communication skills (verbal and written)Ability to gather and analyze data and then create clear reports and presentationsAbility to identify and troubleshoot potential hardware or software performance issuesAble to efficiently gain expertise on products in a fast-paced environmentGood organization and planning skillsWhy Join Onto Innovation?At Onto Innovation, we believe your work should matter—and so should your well-being.
