Float Pool RN ICU / Acute Care Full-Time

Advance your nursing career with a full-time position in the Float Pool, supporting critical care and acute units including ICU, step-down, and medical-surgical. Ideal for experienced nurses, this role combines independence, teamwork, and exposure to a wide range of patient needs and clinical challenges.

Qualifications:

Graduate of an accredited nursing program (BSN or MSN preferred)
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Jersey
Must enroll in a BSN or MSN program within 6 months of hire and complete the program within 3 years
Minimum of 3 years of post-education clinical experience in med-surg, step-down, or ICU settings
Current BLS certification (American Heart Association)
ACLS certification required

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver high-quality, adaptable patient care across medical-surgical, step-down, and ICU units
Perform comprehensive assessments, implement interventions, and evaluate patient outcomes
Respond to rapid changes in patient condition with confidence and clinical precision
Collaborate with physicians, nursing leadership, and care teams to ensure optimal care delivery
Document all care accurately and in compliance with hospital standards and regulatory guidelines
Float seamlessly between units while maintaining continuity, professionalism, and patient safety
