Job Summary
We are looking for a dependable Residential Cable Drop Installation Worker to bury cable drops at residential properties. The position will also involve running existing cable drops underneath driveways and other paved areas when required.

Responsibilities

·       Bury and install cable drops at residential homes.

·       Dig and prepare trenches for underground cable placement.

·       Run existing cable drops underneath residential driveways when necessary.

·       Locate and avoid existing underground utilities before digging.

·       Ensure cable is properly placed, protected, and buried to the required depth.

·       Perform installations around homes, yards, driveways, sidewalks, and other residential areas.

·       Use hand tools and equipment safely and properly.

·       Maintain a clean and safe work area at each residence.

·       Follow company safety procedures and installation standards.

·       Complete assigned residential work efficiently and professionally.

Qualifications

·       Previous experience with underground cable, telecommunications, construction, landscaping, or utility work is preferred but not required.

·       Ability to perform physically demanding outdoor work, including digging, lifting, bending, and kneeling.

·       Ability to operate basic hand and power tools.

·       Reliable transportation and dependable work ethic.

·       Ability to work independently and as part of a crew.

·       Safety-conscious and willing to follow proper procedures.

·       No felonies; Must be able to pass a drug test.

Physical Requirements

·       Ability to lift and carry materials and equipment.

·       Ability to dig, kneel, bend, and work on uneven residential properties.

·       Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

·       Ability to safely operate hand tools and installation equipment.
