This opportunity begins August 11, 2026, and extends through May 28, 2027, centrally located at a French Immersion school near Kansas City, MO. Don’t worry, no French fluency is required—all student interactions and your daily communication with the Special Education team are conducted in English.

You’ll work with a diverse, mixed caseload of middle and high school students (about 15 in total), providing tailored support in speech and language development. Sessions run eight hours per day, three days a week, making this an excellent fit for professionals seeking a balanced schedule. Teletherapy skills are highly welcomed, and candidates with SLP-CFY or SLP-CCC credentials are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Active state license and ASHA certification (SLP-CFY or SLP-CCC)
• Experience working in educational, pediatric, or healthcare settings preferred
• Competency or interest in teletherapy
• Strong communication and documentation skills

Responsibilities:

• Assess and evaluate students with diverse speech and language needs
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and special education staff (all communication in English)
• Maintain accurate records of therapy sessions and progress
• Work on-site at one consistent location with a manageable caseload
• Support mixed-ability students and deliver engaging interventions
