Business Intelligence Analyst

We are seeking a detail-oriented and data-driven Business Intelligence Analyst to support our product distribution operations through advanced reporting, analytics, and data modeling. The ideal candidate will have strong SQL capabilities, experience with BI tools, and a strong understanding of distribution and supply chain workflows. This role will play a critical part in turning operational data into actionable insights that improve efficiency, forecast performance, and support strategic business decisions.

Key responsibilities include:

• Develop, automate, and maintain dashboards and performance reports that support distribution, logistics, and product lifecycle teams.
• Analyze large datasets to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for operational improvements.
• Create forecasts, KPIs, and performance models to support demand planning, inventory management, and process optimization.
• Translate data into compelling visualizations using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.

• Write complex SQL queries to extract, cleanse, and transform data from multiple systems (ERP, WMS, CRM, etc.).
• Partner with data engineering teams to enhance data quality, structure, and accessibility.
• Ensure data integrity and consistency across analytical models and operational systems.

• Work closely with distribution, operations, and sales stakeholders to understand business processes and information needs.
• Support initiatives related to warehousing efficiency, product flow, order accuracy, and transportation performance.

• Communicate data findings and recommendations to leadership through clear storytelling.
• Assist in the development of new business processes, analytics standards, and data governance frameworks.
• Collaborate with IT and operational teams to improve system integrations and workflows.

Required qualifications include:

• Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Business, Information Systems, Supply Chain, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience as a BI Analyst, Data Analyst, or similar role.
• Strong SQL skills.
• Experience using BI/reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker, Qlik, etc.).
• Demonstrated experience working with product distribution, logistics, supply chain, or fulfillment operations.
• Solid understanding of data modeling, data warehousing concepts, and ETL workflows.
• Ability to turn complex datasets into clear insights for non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications include:

• Familiarity with ERP (Epicor Eclipse) and WMS systems (e.g., SAP, NetSuite, Oracle, Manhattan, etc.).
• Advanced Excel skills (PowerQuery, PowerPivot, macros).
• Familiarity with AI tools for data analytics.
