Job Title: RN MS/Tele Float Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Medical/Surgical Telemetry Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Hours Experience: Minimum of 2 Years Required License: Pending License Accepted Certifications: BCLS and ACLS Required; IV Start and Telemetry Required Must-Have: - Patients to nurse ratio of 1:5-6 for days and weekends, 1:6 for nights - Every other weekend or 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule minimum required - Ability to float within medical units, renal, oncology, and neuro - Skills in central line care/management, telemetry, oxygen administration, and wound care Description: Seeking an experienced registered nurse for a float position in the medical/surgical telemetry specialty. The nurse will float between medical, surgical, oncology, and neuro units as needed. Night shifts will be 12 hours long, requiring a commitment of three shifts per week. Previous experience in a similar role is essential. The position includes rotating weekend and holiday shifts. Applicants must hold current BCLS and ACLS certifications, along with IV and telemetry skills. The ability to manage patient care in a high-stress environment is critical. Specialized equipment training will be provided as needed. Candidates must demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and adaptability to meet varying facility needs.
