Competitive Pay This position offers an hourly wage ranging from $25/hr to $35/hr, depending on experience and qualifications. What You’ll Do Performs duties assigned under the direction of Shop Manager to ensure the team is aligned on the goals and objectives for the team for each day. Perform and oversee the disassembly, inspection, repair, and reassembly of pumps, compressors, turbines, gearboxes, and related rotating equipment. Troubleshoot mechanical issues and lead root cause analysis on equipment failures. Interpret technical drawings, OEM manuals, and repair specifications. Ensure proper documentation of repair findings, measurements, tolerances, and parts used. Strong mechanical aptitude and capability to use shop equipment (Drill Press, Pneumatic Hand Tools, Horizontal Bandsaw, cutting torch). Requires travel to job sites. Capable of working independently with little to no supervision. Maintain a safe and clean work environment, complying with company and industry safety regulations. What You’ll Need High school diploma or GED required; technical school or mechanical certification preferred. Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with rotating equipment repair in an industrial environment. Proficient in using precision measuring tools (e.g., micrometers, calipers, dial indicators). Strong understanding of mechanical fits, tolerances, and alignment procedures. Familiar with API, ANSI, and OEM standards related to rotating equipment. Ability to read and interpret mechanical schematics and engineering drawings. Effective leadership, organizational, and communication skills. Forklift and overhead crane experience a plus. Must be able to lift 50+ lbs and work in physically demanding environments. Valid driver’s license; ability to travel to customer sites if needed.
