Emergency Room Nurse (ER RN)We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Nurse to join our team in a bustling trauma center. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and possess strong clinical skills in acute care settings.Unit OverviewNumber of Beds: 56 beds, with hall beds bringing total to 60-70 beds.Fast Track Capacity: 6 beds available.Triage Area: Separate area with 5 beds; assignments for travelers may be available.Holding Area: 18 dedicated beds for inpatients awaiting placement.Psych/Seclusion Rooms: Locked hall with 6 private treatment rooms.Daily Patient Volume: Approximately 170-200 patients.Nurse Ratios: 1:3 for typical cases, 1:4 for low acuity situations.ResponsibilitiesProvide high-quality care to patients in a fast-paced Emergency Department.Manage patient assessments, triage, and treatments in accordance with established protocols.Collaborate with healthcare teams, including physicians, mid-level providers, and support staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.Monitor patients and document changes in condition or response to treatments.Perform necessary procedures and interventions, including EKGs, as needed.QualificationsRequired Certifications: ACLS, BLS, TNCC, PALS or ENPC.Experience: Minimum of 1 year in a larger trauma setting.Education: Nursing license required; BSN preferred.Operational DetailsCharting System: Epic.Orientation: 1-day compliance training followed by 1-day department-specific orientation.Floating Requirements: None.Scrub Color/Dress Code: Professional colors required.Shifts & SchedulingShifts will be assigned based on department needs.Weekend requirement is every other weekend.Holiday availability during November and December is mandatory.Client Details Address 1950 NW Myhre Rd, Silverdale, WA City Silverdale State WA Zip Code 98383
