We are seeking enthusiastic and knowledgeable poeple that would like to be additions to our Broadcast team. We are looking for the following positions to fill:

• Broadcast Producer / Technical Director
• Play-by-Play Broadcaster
• Color Commentator
• Camera Operator

The ideal candidates will provide live play-by-play commentary, color analysis, and expert insights for our games. You will engage with our audience through various platforms, including live streams and online media. A passion for soccer and dynamic communication skills will help bring the excitement of the game to our fans. Responsibilities Your Responsibilities will include: Broadcast Equipment and Technical Operations : Assist with setting up and operating broadcast equipment during live games, including audio, video, and streaming platforms. Collaborate with the production team to ensure a smooth and professional broadcast experience. Troubleshoot any technical issues that arise during the live broadcast. Understanding of OBS and how to create graphics. Play-by-Play Commentary Provide live, dynamic play-by-play commentary for each match, keeping fans engaged and informed throughout the game. Ensure accurate descriptions of player movements, game events, and critical plays. Adapt commentary style to suit both seasoned fans and newcomers to soccer. Deliver in-depth analysis during and after the game, providing insight into team strategies, player performances, and key moments. Explain complex plays or rules in a simple and accessible manner, making the broadcast enjoyable for all levels of soccer knowledge. Pre-Game and Post-Game Analysis : Provide in-depth previews of upcoming matches, analyzing team form, player statistics, and tactical approaches. Conduct interviews with players, coaches, and staff to gather insights and share exclusive content with fans. Offer a detailed recap of the match, discussing critical moments and the overall outcome. Fan Engagement : Engage with fans before, during, and after the game through live chats, commentary and interviews. Answer fan questions, highlight key moments, and share behind-the-scenes stories to build a strong connection between the team and its supporters. Develop strategies to increase fan engagement and grow the team’s online presence across platforms. Broadcast Preparation : Research team rosters, player stats, and opponent information to deliver well-informed commentary. Stay updated on team news, injuries, and league standings to provide accurate analysis during the broadcast. Prepare talking points, key storylines, and potential highlights before each game. Social Media and Content Creation : Contribute to the team’s social media platforms by creating engaging content, including game highlights, interviews, and promotional materials. Provide live social media updates during games to keep fans informed and connected. Collaborate with the team’s media and marketing departments to create digital content that enhances the fan experience. Interviews and Press Conferences : Conduct pre-game and post-game interviews with players, coaches, and other key personnel. Attend press conferences, team practices, and other events to stay informed on team dynamics and provide content for broadcasts. Use interviews to deliver exclusive insights and behind-the-scenes content to the audience. Operate cameras during live matches, capturing clean, steady shots of the action Follow the pace of the game and adjust framing to keep the broadcast visually engaging Assist in setup and teardown of equipment before and after games Collaborate with producers and commentators to ensure coverage of key events and angles Experience with basic camera operation or interest in learning is encouraged Archiving and Highlight Creation Organize and upload full-match broadcasts to YouTube and other platforms Create post-game highlight packages, goal clips, and top moments Tag, title, and time-stamp games to make content easily searchable and shareable Work with the coaching or media staff to pull video for marketing, recaps, or player features Ensure media is saved and archived in an organized and accessible system Note: you will be part of a broadcasting and social media team that will assist with all of these responsibilities. The responsibilities of the broadcast crew will be handled as a group, sharing knowledge and being comfortable knowing each others positions. Qualifications - Experience in sports broadcasting or a related field, with a strong preference for soccer experience.

• Deep knowledge of soccer rules, strategies, and players, both locally and internationally.
• Understanding of the history of the Missouri Reign and AFC Columbia, with knowledge of information about players and coaches.
• Excellent public speaking and storytelling skills, with the ability to deliver energetic and engaging commentary.
• Strong improvisational skills and ability to think on your feet during live broadcasts.
• Ability to analyze complex plays and provide insightful analysis for the audience.
• Team player, able to collaborate with others while also working independently.
• Proficiency with live streaming platforms, broadcasting software, and related equipment is a plus.
• Familiarity with social media platforms for fan engagement.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including occasional weeknight evenings, weekend evenings.
