$2205.24/week - Job Summary: The Clinical Nurse in the SICU/MICU unit provides specialized, high-quality patient care through evidence-based nursing practices, ensuring safety and positive patient outcomes. The role involves collaboration with interdisciplinary teams and active engagement in quality improvement initiatives. Responsibilities: Deliver comprehensive patient care by applying the nursing process and relationship-centered care principles. Assess patient needs, prioritize interventions, and coordinate with the healthcare team to develop effective care plans. Educate patients and families about their condition, ongoing care, and health promotion strategies. Facilitate smooth patient transitions and promote a healing environment through purposeful rounding and communication. Ensure safety and quality standards are maintained, escalating hazards and participating in process improvement efforts. Document care accurately in compliance with hospital and regulatory standards. Qualifications: Current NYS RN license and valid BLS and ACLS certifications. Minimum of 2 years' ICU or Med/Surg experience, with at least 1 year of travel experience preferred. Demonstrated clinical competence in critical care nursing and familiarity with EPIC preferred. Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred; relevant experience or ongoing BSN education considered for associates.
