Job Description:
MultiCare Yakima is seeking a full-time (Monday through Friday, 8 am - 5 pm) clinic-based Audiologist to start as soon as possible. In this role, you will perform a variety of diagnostic hearing tests, including pure tone air and bone conduction testing, speech audiometry, and impedance audiometry for patients ranging from birth to seniors. You will interpret test results and provide recommendations for medical follow-up, hearing aids, ear protection, and related care.


You will conduct hearing aid evaluations to identify the most suitable amplification options for patients and will fit and adjust hearing aids, providing detailed instructions on operation and maintenance. Routine maintenance and troubleshooting of hearing aids purchased through the office will also be part of your responsibilities.


Requirements:

• Active Washington State license (preferred)
• Successful completion of a master's or doctorate degree program including clinical practicum experience
• Master's degrees require Certificate of Clinic Competency in Audiology (AuD) from a board-approved institution, which satisfies professional work experience requirements
• Current BLS Certification
