Calibration Technician

We are open to a range of experience levels and will provide a clear path to grow your technical expertise.What You'll Do:Perform calibration of measurement and test equipment (M&TE) using approved procedures, ensuring compliance with calibration requirements and traceabilityCreate and execute calibration procedures by applying measurement science, mathematics, physics, and electronicsDetermine measurement standard suitability and account for measurement uncertaintyTroubleshoot calibration operations and perform corrective actions as neededMaintain calibration records and process documentation using the Metrology database (MET/TEAM)Adapt equipment, standards, and procedures for unique measurements and provide technical supportSupport continuous improvement projects and process enhancement ideasCommunicate progress, issues, and process changes clearly with management, and maintain 5S lean principlesWhat You Bring:High School Diploma or GED2+ years of experience calibrating M&TEAAS or technical degree, or equivalent military experience, preferredUnderstanding of QMS, calibration requirements, and accreditation standards, including familiarity with ISO/IEC 17025, measurement traceability, and uncertaintyBasic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook)Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skillsFamiliarity with Fluke Met/Team database and SAP a plusStrong math and physics background preferredBest in Class Benefits:Affordable medical, dental, and vision insuranceHSA/FSA with a company matchIncome protection benefitsIndustry leading 401(k) planPaid time offParental leaveMatching gift and volunteer programMTS supports Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) that bring people together to share experiences and ideas, and we're committed to a diverse, inclusive workplace where everyone can contribute their talents.
