Senior Oncology Specialist - Emerald - Springfield, IL

Amgen seeks a Senior Oncology Specialist to serve as a clinical liaison in a multi-city Illinois territory, providing product knowledge to medical professionals and executing territory sales plans for oncology medicines.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive territory sales plan with branded messaging and educational programs
- Serve as primary clinical contact providing current product knowledge to healthcare professionals
- Manage accounts, resolve reimbursement issues, and maintain product contracts
- Analyze territory sales effectiveness and develop performance improvement strategies with District Manager
- Partner with colleagues to share best practices and maintain continuous learning in oncology field
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree plus 3 years healthcare/sales experience, or Associate degree plus 6 years, or high school diploma plus 8 years
- Demonstrated sales experience and/or clinical background in healthcare or scientific field
- Knowledge of oncology disease states and treatment landscape
- Preferred: 3+ years pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device sales/marketing experience
- Preferred: Product or hospital sales experience in oncology or related specialties
- Strong planning, communication, and relationship management capabilities
