Sr. SAP BRIM SOM Functional Consultant - San Jose, CA - $66/hr

Location: San Jose, CA

Work Arrangement: Onsite

Overview:

We're seeking a Sr. SAP BRIM SOM Functional Consultant to support enterprise SAP S/4HANA BRIM initiatives focused on Subscription Order Management (SOM), Order-to-Cash processes, and revenue management solutions.

This role will be responsible for functional design, configuration, and implementation activities across SAP BRIM environments. The ideal candidate has deep expertise in SAP S/4HANA BRIM, Subscription Order Management (SOM), and complex Order-to-Cash workflows, along with a proven track record of successful end-to-end implementations.

Local San Jose-area candidates are strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead functional design and configuration activities within SAP S/4HANA BRIM environments.

Configure and support SAP BRIM Subscription Order Management (SOM) solutions.

Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable SAP solutions.

Support Order-to-Cash (OTC) business processes across billing, invoicing, and revenue management workflows.

Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, developers, and project teams to deliver successful implementations.

Support system testing, defect resolution, and production deployment activities.

Participate in business process workshops, solution design sessions, and requirements gathering activities.

Ensure SAP solutions align with business objectives and industry best practices.

Support integration activities across SAP and enterprise systems.

Provide subject matter expertise during implementation, enhancement, and support projects.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.

8+ years of SAP consulting experience.

3+ years of SAP S/4HANA BRIM experience.

Experience with at least two full-cycle SAP S/4HANA BRIM implementations.

Strong SAP BRIM Subscription Order Management (SOM) expertise.

Extensive SAP Order-to-Cash (OTC) process experience.

Hands-on SAP BRIM configuration experience.

Experience configuring SAP S/4HANA BRIM solutions.

Strong understanding of billing, invoicing, and revenue management processes.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Ability to work effectively with both technical and business teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

SAP Convergent Charging experience.

SAP Convergent Invoicing experience.

SAP Convergent Mediation experience.

Product Configuration experience.

Advanced Variant Configuration (AVC) experience.

Subscription-based business model experience.

Telecommunications, SaaS, or recurring revenue industry experience.

Compensation & Benefits:

Pay Rate: $66/hour
