During your apprenticeship or internship, you will actively participate in day-to-day business, take on responsible tasks and be supervised by experienced trainers and colleagues. Your duties As a plastics and rubber technologist, you will: produce semi-finished products, molded parts, components, or multi-layer rubber parts from materials (various types of plastics) by operating or controlling machines and production systems. start up the plants for the production of plastic articles and set up the corresponding production machines, adjusting them for the raw materials to be processed. monitor the production process and correct the set parameters if necessary.
