Linux Systems Administrator

Responsibilities Work in an environment where you can help design the architecture and develop solutions to meet organizational needs. Look for an innovative, motivated individual to join a small, talented, and hardworking Linux team in a hybrid cloud environment. Maintain and troubleshoot Linux instances across multiple networks and architectures. Have hands‑on Linux administration and scripting automation experience; knowledge of AWS Cloud technologies is a plus. Work well in a small team setting, desire to automate processes where possible, and willingness to think outside the box to find solutions. Required Qualifications Active and current TS.SCI with FSP through MD. Ten (10) years experience as a Systems Administrator in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity. Certifications: Compliance with DoD 8570.01‑M with a minimum certification of IAT Level II (SEC+, CCNA). Strong Linux administration experience including configuring, patching, monitoring, and troubleshooting. Experience working with diverse teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues. Experience creating, debugging, and implementing Bash, Python, Puppet, and/or Ansible automation scripts. Ability to work in a team and mentor junior staff. Self‑motivated and willing to learn new technologies. Ability to communicate issues with team members and/or service owners. Desired Qualifications Experience with AWS, specifically EC2 Auto Scaling. Education Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Five (5) years of additional Systems Administrator experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree. The proposed salary range is up to $170,000. Lentech, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
